The service

InvoiceLocal is a free, browser-based invoice generator. It is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose. Use it at your own discretion.

Your content

Invoices you create remain yours in every sense. Because processing happens on your device and your data is never transmitted to us, we acquire no copy of, access to, or rights over anything you create here.

Not tax, legal or accounting advice

Pages on this site describe invoicing conventions and summarize tax-adjacent rules — VAT and GST thresholds, sales-tax categories, reporting forms. This information is compiled in good faith and dated, but it is general information, not advice for your situation: rules change, jurisdictions differ, and your case may be an exception. Confirm anything that matters against official sources (your tax authority) or a qualified professional before relying on it. You are responsible for the correctness and legal adequacy of invoices you issue. We accept no liability for consequences of relying on this site.

PDF generation uses pdf-lib, © its contributors, used under the MIT license. Our thanks to that project — tools like this one exist because of it.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to disrupt the site, and don’t use it to create fraudulent or deceptive documents — an invoice for work that didn’t happen is fraud with nice typography, and it’s on you. That’s the whole list.

Changes

These terms may be revised; the date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
